The Easy Chair designed for a new relaxation experience

The “Easy Chair” was completed through a process of trial and error. Initially, we rethought the functionality and necessity of the chair, as well as the lifestyle that we think the “Easy Chair” should be used for.

First of all, we thought that we did not need a chair that was “very large,” “heavy,” or “hard to get up once you sit on it”. We thought it would be very convenient to have an easy chair that is as compact and lightweight as possible, and that can be used in the living room today and in the bedroom tomorrow. This is our idea.

安樂椅，一種全新放鬆的理念

這張「安樂椅」是經過反復試驗才完成的。 首先，我們重新思考了「安樂椅」的功能和必要性，以及生活裡有「安樂椅」會是什麼樣的風格。

首先，我認為安樂椅是不需要這三項性能：它「很大」、「很重」，而且「坐下後很難站起來」。 若能有一把盡可能地輕巧且簡潔的椅子，今天在客廳使用，明天換在臥室使用，這樣的話多麼方便呢？這是我們的想法。

The Easy Chair embodies structural beauty and functional simplicity

For the backrest design, our focus was considering a form that looks beautiful from any angle while emphasizing the simplest shape that maintains strength. Although the padded backrest is more comfortable, we prioritized the overall lightness of the design.

The function of relaxing and lounging was our particular focus. The angle and size of the backrest and its relationship to the seat surface were considered after many trials and errors. A feature is the deep length of the seat, which is slightly deeper. Functionally, this length allows cushions to be placed on the backrest if necessary.

結構美觀、功能簡單的「安樂椅」

靠背的結構設計既要堅固，又要有最簡單的形狀，同時還要考慮各個角度的美感。 雖然有軟墊的靠背會比較舒適，但還是以整體的輕盈感優先來設計。

放鬆和休息的機能是設計上的重點。 靠背的角度和尺寸，以及靠背與坐墊兩者的關繫都是經過反復試驗後才決定的。 一個特色是座椅的長度稍深。 從功能上講，這種長度可以在必要時在腰部加上枕頭來靠背。

The stool can be used as a side table

We’ve taken the bold step of removing the armrests and designed it to be lightweight and easy to use. In addition, it allows you to stand up easily and smoothly.

We’ve also thought of several ways to use it, such as placing a side table next to it or combining the two chairs.
